College
Narva College, located in the North-East of Estonia, is a regional faculty of University of Tartu. The College was founded in 1999. It is the only institution of higher education in Estonia to focus mainly on the preparation of teachers for Estonian schools with Estonian as well as Russian as the language of instruction. The role of the College is special due to the fact that 26% of the population in Estonia, 76% in Ida-Virumaa county and 96% in Narva city are native Russian speakers.
