The interdisciplinary Conference is open to linguists, historians, archaeologists, folklorists, ethnographers, musicologists. Current problems of the Finno-Ugric (Finnish, Estonian, Hungarian etc.) and Indo-European (Germanic, Slavic, Baltic, Armenian and Indo-Iranian) languages and ethnic groups will be discussed in a comparative or resolving manner. Application deadline for Conference Registration: 10th September, 2016. The abstract body may contain 1500-2500 characters.
Conference participation is free of charge. Official languages of the Conference are Estonian, English, Russian and German.
Conference papers will be published in the Yearbook of Finno-Ugric Studies (Udmurt State University, Russia):
